Hibiwash 4% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a topical cutaneous solution containing chlorhexidine gluconate 40mg/ml. It is supplied in a 125ml bottle for external skin use.
The product is formulated for skin cleansing applications and is intended for use according to the directions and precautions provided with the product. The formulation is suitable for use in healthcare and personal skin-cleansing routines where specified by the product instructions.
Important Information
For external use only.
Do not use if you have a known allergy or previous hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine-containing products.
Avoid contact with the eyes. Accidental ocular exposure requires prompt and thorough rinsing with water.
Do not use in contact with the brain, meninges or middle ear.
Take particular care when using on newborn or premature infants, as chlorhexidine-containing skin preparations may carry a risk of serious skin injury in this population.
Avoid excessive quantities and prevent the solution from pooling beneath the patient or in skin folds.
Hibiwash is flammable. Keep away from flames, sparks and ignition sources until completely dry.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store according to the conditions stated on the product packaging.
